  • Electrical muscle stimulation or EMS is a full body workout targeting multiple muscle groups simultaneously. A traditional workout may only use 50% of your muscles whereas EMS engages up to 98% . EMS workouts are very time efficient, hence a 20-minute EMS workout can be the equivalent of a normal 90-minute conventional gym session.

    EMS offers the most efficient and evenly-distributed resistance strength-training available anywhere, with 11 major muscle groups being activated simultaneously.

    EMS can elicit a stronger contraction in the muscle and target the entire muscle with less time and faster results.

  • Electrodes are strategically placed within a Training Suit over all major muscle groups. This is then connected to the device which is controlled by a Professional Trainer. In this way it can be fully personalized to meet your needs. The external stimulation, coupled with simple voluntary exercises causes intensified muscle contractions.

    As you exercise, electro impulses are sent to the pads which triggers muscle contractions. EMS mimics the brain's natural pulses, only more intensively. This allows EMS to activate more muscle fibers, including deep muscles that regular workouts cannot reach. The result is a more complete and effective workout in less time.

  • EMS training stimulates all the major muscle groups at the same time, by sending electric impulses directly to these motoric nerves, even the weak muscles are activated.

  • Yes, If supervised by a certified EMS trainer, there is no danger in using this technology for training. EMS is a very popular, modern way of training utilized by many studios throughout the world. Our EMS machines have been approved by the FDA.

    There are some health issues that make EMS not suitable for:

    • Implanted medical device (pacemakers), cancerous lesions, regnant or suspect pregnant, internal bleeding, neurological or neuromuscular disorder, cardiovascular disease

  • We recommend working out with our technology and trainers one to two times per week, with at least 48 hours in between sessions to allow for muscle recovery.

  • You will most likely be sore after your workout. This is due to the total body training that EMS provides, but muscle soreness is part of the adaptation process that leads to greater stamina and muscle strength.

  • Our particular EMS machine is made by XBody. It is dual cleared by the FDA as both a medical and fitness device. Aside from the machine, we provide an electrode vest and accessories that you wear to conduct the electric frequency safely to your muscles.

  • Yes, you can. Ideal additions to EMS training include activities such as yoga or Pilates as well as any type of cardio training. The recovery phase of an EMS session is typically 24 to 48 hours, similar to a conventional training session. Heavy weight lifting is not recommended within 24 hours after EMS due to giving your muscles recovery time. All other sports related activities can be continued as normal. description

  • A contraindication is a medical condition or symptom that makes a treatment harmful to a patient. Severe heart conditions, electrical implants, liver or nervous system issues, pregnancy, and severe skin conditions are among some of the contraindications that will prohibit one from participating in EMS training.
